Mother of Pearl Luster is an overglaze that fires to a soft, iridescent pearl rainbow like finish with subtle color variation. Designed for use on glazed and fully fired ceramic surfaces, it adds luminous highlights and fine line details to finished work.

Mother of Pearl Luster performs best when fired to cone 020 over a glossy surface. Lusters reflect the surface beneath them—when applied to matte or unglazed surfaces, the fired result will mirror that texture, producing a softer, satin-like or less iridescent surface.
